History

The Bolt Shop opened its doors on the 11th February 2002.

After twelve months or so of research into the supply of engineering fastenings on the North Shore, it was identified that there was a need for a competent supplier prepared to meet the demands of the small to medium engineering, mechanical and manufacturing operations.

The business was opened with these distinguishable features:

• Prompt delivery
• No minimum quantity
• No order too small
• Willingness to go the extra mile for our customers

Since opening,in February 2002, the business has grown from one owner operator to a full time staff of four as well as part time adminstration assistance.

To maintain a developing range of product and promptly source non-stock products to meet customer requirements.

To ensure that customers have the highest level of product and technical support so that they are able to use the most suitable product for their application.

To source special products to support the large vehicle restoration and refurbishment industry on the North Shore.

To work closely with manufacturers in the development of product prototypes and source specialist fastenings to meet the associated technical specifications.

The Bolt Shop is set up in a supermarket-style layout, with customers able to browse the shelves and often select their own goods to purchase.
